Prof. Uma Joshi has MA, MPhil and PhD in Psychology, PG Diploma in Human Resource Management and BSc in Home Science. She is currently the Dean, Humanities, Social Science and Liberal Arts , covering eight institutes of Amity University and prior to that she held the position of Director for the same university. Apart from being associate professor, faculty adjunct, etc earlier in her life, she had been a Convenor, Board of Studies for several universities in Rajasthan. She also has research papers, articles and chapters published in national and international journals under her belt. Her research project was funded by UGC - Teaching Life skills through the Art of storytelling (Panchtantra, Hitopdesh and Jatak Kathain).Prof. has also been a State Level Trainer of the trainer (TOT) for Life & Soft Skills, Consultant Psychologist to an Initiative of AKSHYA PATRA, Sponsored by Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Austin, USA, in collaboration with Subhashish, Jaipur, a programm of the Training of Life Skills in Government Schools of Jaipur. (40,000 Govt. school children are benefiting from this program) and Advisor psychologist to State and Central Government in the recruitments for the State Administrative Services and Police Services and Central Reserve Police Forces and other services like Railways.
