Sunitha Ranjan

Ms. Sunitha Ranjan is an adept psychologist and life skills educationalist with 15 years of experience. She served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Skills Education, at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, India, where teaching and training were her forte. She has served as faculty for Asan Business School in Chennai. Sunitha worked for Young Buzz India Ltd, Mumbai, representing their South India operations as a career counsellor and personality development trainer.

 

Her area of research is life skills and psychological capital and she shows acumen in designing and developing content, curriculum in life skills, delivering training programs and preparing life skills training modules/manuals. Sunitha is the co-author of the much-acclaimed Life Skills Assessment Scale (LSAS). She is the Associate Editor of International Journal of Life Skills Education, a bi-annual journal, open access journal. She has co-authored books and research publications on life skills. 

 

Sunitha is currently officiating as President of Indian Association of Life Skills Education (IASLE), a not -for-profit academic body, whose aim is to bring like-minded people / professionals in the area of life skills on a common platform, to disseminate the concept of life skills education in the country, build a cadre of adroit life skills trainers to reach out to diverse population and strengthen research in the area of life skills. She is a leader who leads with compassion and vision. Sunitha is a positive thinker, self-driven and passionate in what she does.
