1.  Bhakti Texts-101

Indian classic texts reveal that in Kali Yuga, it is bhakthi that will lead us to the Supreme Lord. Not only this helps to attain the Adhyathmic goal, bhakthi emotion broadens our global view and understanding. The purpose of the summer program is to introduce to the global community in a single window, the essence of bhakthi as expressed in various texts available in multiple languages. The course will also enable to read and understand certain portions of bhakthi texts.

Course will endeavor to address these aspects:

1) Bhakthi and its Importance
2) General and brief overview of Veda and Sastras as it
reveals Upasana (devotional aspect)
3) Bhakthi Movement: Some Understanding
4) Discussion on Bhagavath Text
5) Ithihasa and Bhakthi

7) Broadening Ideas from Bhakthi Texts

2.  Introduction to Divine Dance

Explore the transformational aesthetic experience of this 3,000-year-old art form with Hema SharmaStudents will be introduced to Talam, Adavu, and Abhinaya.  Individual and group training will be provided to help students develop the physical coordination an

choreographic techniques required for competent practice and confident performance. (No previous experience required, 10 years onwards all are welcome)

3.  Introduction to Art and Culture: 101

         India is a land of veritable treasures, at once interesting to the tourist as well as to an enquiring student of Indian art. India has been the birthplace of some of the major religions of the world - Sanaatan (Hinduism), Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and these have inspired       
         most of her art. Indian artistic traditions are ancient and deeply rooted in religion. While at various times in her long history, foreign races and cultures exercised some influence on Indian art forms, the main aesthetic currents remained predominantly Indian.
          While discussing, in brief, the Background of the Creative Arts of India in the following 5 points:

     Analyzing and interpreting functions, graphs, polynomials, rational and Exponential and logarithmic functions, Exploring trigonometric functions, complex numbers, sequences, and polynomial Inequalities.

       Our online precalculus course is taught Using a combination of multimedia lessons, quizzes and tests. This course will help Students for college maths courses.

   5. ENC 1101 -48 hours course (3 credits)

      ENC 1101 English Composition is an introduction to college writing necessary for success in college, in upper university and in the workplace. You will gain competency in the different rhetorical modes of writing discourse          and learn about the writing process (brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing, and proofreading) in detail. You will get the opportunity to tone your skills while improving your vocabulary, learning to critically assess readings          across styles and genres and by becoming

Familiar with standard research practices in the humanities. This course satisfies the Gordon Rule.
